Here’s the first picture from the film adaptation of Cormac McCarthy’s The Road. It’s going to star Viggo Mortensen and is directed by the guy who did the gritty, brutal, Nick-Cave-penned Australian western The Proposition, which are two pretty amazing fits, so I’m cautiously optimistic.
