Cass McCombs - Your Mother and Father

I’ve been listening to Pandora a lot this week and discovering lots of great music I haven’t heard before. This is one of my favorite finds.

The Most Badass Bike Thief Ever

“That was just the beginning. An additional 200 bikes were seized in Mr. Kenk’s home. Ten landlords around the city reported that their garages had been rented by Mr. Kenk and were bulging with bicycles. As the police gathered the mounds of bikes, they also found cocaine, crack cocaine, about 15 pounds of marijuana and a stolen bronze sculpture of a centaur and a snake in battle.”

David Lee Roth - Running with the Devil - vocal track - Screaming only version

Kia posted the original, but we felt that taking out all the gaps and actual “singing” was a moral imperative.

A-MAZING. I want to wake up to this every morning.

Well, this is incredible.

This weekend, I went to my friends Shaw and Celeste’s wedding in a small town outside Albany.  I shared a room with three of my best friends from college: Sauce, Matt and Bill. I see Sauce and Bill maybe once a year each (Sauce is in LA, Bill in Philly), and this is the first time we’ve all hung out together since college. It was unbelievable. I felt like I was back in school: hanging out, laughing pretty much non-stop, drinking too much and dancing. I wish I could have weekends like this all the time. It was so bittersweet to have that much fun while knowing that we probably won’t get to all hang out again for a long time.
